The story of the Nutcracker is an old German tale passed down to us from E.T.A. Hoffman. Gruesome and frightening as the original story was, the brilliant composer Tchaikovsky created a beautiful ballet and it has become a Christmas tradition for many. New to the theatrical scene is Clara's Dream, a musical version of the story by Mr. Hoffman ... with a few character twists to make it less frightening and more in keeping with the holiday season. With dancing and singing, this holiday treat is full of cultural information and guaranteed to delight audiences and cast alike!
